Solar Gard Window Film Keeps Coles Customers Comfortable

A hot problem solved with heat reducing window film

Window Energy Solutions recently completed this major window film installation for Coles Supermarket in Bayswater VIC.

The client contacted Window Energy Solutions because the builders of the new Coles Supermarket were faced with a major problem shortly prior to the grand opening of this multi million dollar flagship store.

Just after the cash registers were installed, it was realised that the North-East facing glass facade, despite being tinted glass, was creating far too much heat and glare for either the workers or customers to comfortably be in the cash register area. The answer was Solar Gard Slate 10 window film.

This film stops 79% of incoming heat and 87% of the glare providing a much more comfortable environment for the workers and the customers.

At the same time, the view out of these floor to ceiling windows to the nearby Dandenong Ranges was maintained.
